On Friday, February 28, the “Sălaj – Beauty, Tradition, Heritage” photo exhibition opened at the GPU Exhibition Center located in the Károlyi Castle in Nagykároly.
This is the seventh edition of the event held in 2024.
A total of 44 photographs are on display, representing a summary of the works created during the “Sălaj – Beauty, Tradition, Heritage” photo camp, which took place for the seventh time in Sălaj County from May 24 to 31, 2024.
The following photographers were present at the camp: Sara Gabriëls – Belgium, Menachem Sinai – Israel, Cristina Garzone – Italy, Giacomo Laschi – Italy, Pandula Bandara – Sri Lanka, Jacky Martin – France, Ștefan Dorel Găină – Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Dragoș Deme – Romania, Adela Lia Rusu – Romania, Ovi D.Pop – Romania, and Bikfalvi Zsolt – Romania.
The exhibition was opened by Zsolt Bikfalvi, the director of the GPU Exhibition Center, as well as Daniel Sauca, the director of the Salaj County Cultural and Art Center, Daniel Stejeran, the leader of the Tara Silvaniei Association, and Adela Lia Rusu from the Varadinum Photo Club from Oradea, who is both an organizer and a participant of the camp.
